A little exercise-y goodness for your Thursday evening...

Some studies show that you actually gain weight when you’re in a relationship, so I feel your pain on this one. It’s common to put on some weight when you move in with your partner - the key is to remember that!
I’m not a trainer, so I can’t tell you what will work for you, but I can tell you what’s worked for me! Some things that you can do to exercise your thighs and stomach are:
- Goblet squats for your legs (you can find a demo of me doing some here… In this video, I’m using a 35lb wight, but I’ve worked up to 65lbs. Start with a weight you’re comfortable with and work your way up.)
-For your stomach, try this move. It works out your abs and strengthens your core. (I like to call it the “reverse plank thingie”.)
Other than that, I’d suggest that you try to maintain a weekly work-out regimen and pay attention to what your eating habits are! The best thing that I’ve done is really watch my eating and my intake. I don’t count calories, but I definitely am aware of what I’m eating and how much I’m eating in one sitting.
Remember, sometimes our bodies change with time, and it’s not always a bad thing :) Stay positive and always keep your head up!
I hope that helps!
